Retreat Overview

You can feel it, that quiet pull toward something more.

Maybe life looks fine from the outside, but deep down you know you’re ready to rediscover who you really are. To shed what no longer fits, and rise into a chapter that feels aligned, confident, and alive.

Manifesting in the Mountains is a 6-day women’s retreat designed to help you return to your truth, through yoga, nature, stillness, and intentional creation.

Set among the wild beauty of the Canadian Rockies, this retreat blends daily yoga, soulful workshops, breathtaking hikes, and deeply nourishing meals prepared by our in-house chef, Janice, whose dishes are vibrant, artful, and made with pure love.

A Once-in-a-Lifetime Experience

〰️

A Once-in-a-Lifetime Experience 〰️

Very few yoga retreats are ever hosted in the Banff region…. and for good reason.
Much of the land is protected and private, making intentional gatherings here almost impossible to host.

That’s what makes Manifesting in the Mountains so rare.

Our intimate group will explore places most visitors only dream of, including Moraine Lake, one of the most iconic and restricted natural wonders in the world. With limited access and timed entry, this sacred alpine setting is a privilege to experience.

You’ll not only visit it, you’ll breathe it in, surrounded by stillness, connection, and sisterhood.

This retreat offers the chance to merge deep inner transformation with one of the most breathtaking landscapes on earth.

  • "This yoga retreat fed my starving soul at a time that I was at my lowest. Thank you for such a beautiful and healing experience. I can't wait until next time."

  • The House of Asana Retreat at the Sansara Resort was one of the best experiences and investments I've made. From the daily yoga to the hikes, surfing, and waterfalls, Lauren curated a retreat that allowed for personal growth, relaxation, and adventure. I loved growing in my yoga practice through their coaching.

FAQs

1. What airport should I fly into, and when should I arrive?

You’ll fly into Calgary International Airport (YYC), located about 2.5 hours from our retreat home in Goldenrod.
We ask that you arrive in Calgary no later than 12:00 PM on the first day of the retreat to allow for travel time to the mountains and a smooth group arrival.
All ground transportation from Calgary to the retreat home and throughout the week is included — you’ll be welcomed at the airport by our team and travel together to begin your journey.

2. What should I pack, and what’s the weather like in Banff at the end of September?

Late September in Banff is magical — crisp mornings, golden trees, and cool mountain air. Daytime temperatures typically range from the high 40s to mid-60s°F (8–18°C), with cooler evenings.

Pack layers you can easily add or remove:

  • Comfortable hiking shoes or boots

  • Lightweight jacket and a warm outer layer

  • Yoga and movement clothes

  • Hat, gloves, and cozy sweater for evenings by the fire

  • Reusable water bottle and small daypack for hikes

We’ll be outside often, and the mountain weather can shift quickly — embrace it as part of the adventure!

3. Can I come alone?

Absolutely: most of our guests come solo.
This retreat is intentionally designed to help women reconnect to themselves while also finding meaningful community. From the moment you arrive, you’ll be supported and surrounded by like-hearted women who are on their own journeys of growth and rediscovery.
Many of our guests leave with lifelong friendships (and often plan future trips together!).

4. How physically active is this retreat?

This retreat includes daily yoga and two guided hikes: Consolation Lakes and Plain of Six Glaciers. Both are moderate-level hikes, suitable for most active participants. You don’t need to be an athlete — just comfortable walking on uneven terrain for a few miles at a steady pace.
We move mindfully, and there’s always space to rest, go at your own rhythm, and listen to your body.
